Programme of Speakers and Activities 2017

19 January Julie Hodder from 'Fit as a Fiddle' will be back to help us exercise and overcome the excesses of Christmas and New Year

16 February
Harborough FM, our local radio station, will be coming along and will be running a bingo session and a quiz

16 March
Arts & crafts.  Collage birds with mixed media workshop led by Catherine Matthews

20 April
We will be entertained by Pete Wayre, a professional singer with a wide repertoire, who will sing a range of songs from the 40's, 50's and 60's

18 May
Carol, the Assistive Technology Co-ordinator from Adults & Communities, Leicestershire County Council is going to give a talk and demonstration of various aids and appliances that would help people with dementia.  Afterwards we will be having Techy Thursday when students will be coming in.

15 June
A Care Fayre where various organisations will be on hand to give advice about the support available to people living with dementia.  Among those attending will be Home Instead (care providers), Voluntary Action South Leicestershire and Bray & Bray (solicitors).

20 July
Cream tea and beetle drive

17 August
Catherine Matthews will be returning to lead us in more arts and crafts activities

Neil Richardson with songs from musicals
