Dementia Cafe
Our Cafe is a place to meet for coffee, cake and activities, while sharing experiences, information and support.
The sessions are open to people with dementia, together with their carers, to talk, to share and to socialise.
The Café meets on the third Thursday of every month and you can see our programme of speakers and activities for 2019 and 2020 below. Our sessions are free to attend and refreshments are provided.

16 January
Mark Beeby from Twilight Games will help us welcome in the New Year
with an Olympic themed fun,exercise and games afternoon
20 February
An arty-crafty afternoon led by the Pop-Up cafe
19 March
The very popular Ukulele Band will be here to entertain and play for us
16 April
The theme is ‘Easter Cooking’.We will also be joined by Beth from Severn
Trent Water, who will inform us about the support available for water bills
21 May
The ladies from the Pom-Pom Dance Group will be delighting us with
another fun filled afternoon of music, dance and of course pom-poms
18 June
June wouldn’t be the same without a visit from our friends from Harborough
FM, who will entertain us with music, bingo and lots more

20 August
Yvette Healey from Singing4Smiles will be visiting us to provide an
afternoon of musical entertainment
17 September
We are pleased to welcome back the artist Catherine Matthews to lead us
in another enjoyable craft activity afternoon

The Ukulele Band return to entertain us with another music filled afternoon
19 November
Local ceramicist Katherine Fortnum will run a ceramics workshop, to create
a hanging decoration out of clay, to keep or give as a gift
