During the last few weeks we have received donations from a number of sources.

In June the Makers Market at Great Bowden Village Hall raised £200.

Also Little Bowden Womens Institute ran a very well-attended quiz evening and raised £600.

Their President Louise Smith presented their cheque to our Trustee Jan Meredith.

Last weekend a Strawberry Cream Tea at St Nicholas Church Hall in Little Bowden organised by Beryl, Christine and her team was very successful. It was very well supported, and it was great to see so many of our members there. This event raised the amazing amount of £925 for us!

Beryl and her team have run this event for the last four years and this year's amount was a record-breaker! Beryl can be seen here presenting the cheque to our Chair Peter Hirst at our Cafe meeting yesterday.

Beryl and Christine were given a bouquet of flowers each as a token of our appreciation.

We are very grateful for all the support we get from local organisations and individuals. These allow us to continue and improve the events which we run, and which are so appreciated by our members.
