Today we hosted our Christmas Party and were delighted to welcome a record number of members!

Many thanks go to Harborough Twenty 12 Lions Club for covering the cost of the afternoon and to Crowndale Food Services Ltd for providing the mince pies.

Our special guests today were Jill Mann (right) and Sandra Ward (left) from Joan's Coach Outings who had been collecting for us during the year and presented our Chair Peter Hirst with a cheque for a magnificent £850.

During the afternoon we enjoyed bingo, a raffle and a quiz, followed by carols accompanied by Christine on the piano.

At our Cafe last month everyone decorated pottery Christmas tree decorations. These were sent away to be fired and we were able to return them to their owners today - very impressive they were too! There are too many to show them all but here are a couple chosen at random:-

It's been a busy year and we have had a large increase in the number of people attending our groups. On behalf of all at Dementia Harborough we would like to thank all our members for their company, our many supporters for making it possible for us to run our various activities, and our Volunteers all for their help.
