At the Annual Council Meeting of Harborough District Council on 20 May, Cllr Lesley Bowles presented Peter Hirst, Chair of Dementia Harborough, with a cheque for funds raised in her year of office as Chair of the Council.

During the year, Lesley and her team arranged lunches, a quiz night, the civic carol service and a civic dinner to which family, friends and guests were invited. Everyone involved has been incredibly supportive and the events have raised a total amount of £3,129 for Dementia Harborough.

On behalf of everyone at Dementia Harborough we would like to thank Lesley for selecting us as her charity, and wish her well on her retirement as a Councillor.
