Coronavirus – Cancellation of Activities

I am sure that, like everyone at Dementia Harborough, you have been watching the news about Coronavirus over the last few days and weeks – it’s hard to avoid it!

We all know how much our members value our activities and the opportunity to socialise with others. However we are also acutely aware that many of our members and volunteers fall into the age group which is most at risk from Coronavirus.

With the outlook changing by the hour it is difficult to know how to get the right balance between caution and the desire to ‘keep calm and carry on’. However after much thought, and with great regret, we have decided:-

• To cancel Dementia Café on Thursday 19th March

• To cancel Singing for Memories on Tuesday 7th April

• Not to attend the Casa Nostra coffee mornings on Wednesdays 18th & 25th March, and 1st & 8th April.

We will keep the situation under close review and will send out our usual Newsletter next month (perhaps a little later than usual) to update you on future events.

You can also watch the website for further updates.

Meanwhile do all please stay safe.
